I had a talk today with Terrance Green, a friend and neighboring youth pastor about summer schedules and our weekly program. In a nutshell: we don’t know what to do.
Is keeping your youth ministry program as is killing your momentum or killing your consistency?
Your thoughts are appreciated in the comments.

Ive always been told to go on with ministry as if it were 500 students or 5. but I do plan more outdoor stuff and fun night during the summer, if we have a game night it can help keep the momentum up. but in all reality summer does kill all momentum in youth ministry. but I would rather be open every wednesday and have some kids hear about Jesus than be closed some open some and have kids think im a flake. just my 2 cents…
Yeah, as much as it pains me, I agree. I think, more than anything, I just know that summers are so tiring.
Oh well, let the summer activities roll!
